FUMC San Marcos offers one contemporary service every Sunday in our Fellowship Hall, at 10:45am. We call it our Identity Service to remind us of the New Identity we are given through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:8-9).
The Fellowship Hall can be entered either through the courtyard (go all the way down the sidewalk and turn right at the bottom of the horseshoe) or by an entrance along Fredericksburg Street. An ADA accessible entrance is available off Fredericksburg by entering the gate on the driveway and entering through the glass doors at the top of the ramp.
The Identity Service features Contemporary music played by our praise team, a children’s moment, and biblically based sermons. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month. Everyone is invited to the Lord’s Table to receive Communion. This service is fairly casual.
