11:00 – 12:00noon Sept - Nov

Angels and demons are portrayed and discussed everywhere — from statues and paintings to poems and songs to the Internet. But are they understood correctly? With all the attention these beings receive, Christians are bound to get confused between what is often assumed to be “common knowledge” and how the Word of God actually portrays them. In this series, Dr. R.C. Sproul challenges many of the modern myths regarding these other-worldly beings by offering a biblical view of the spiritual realm. Chapters include  1 The Heavenly Choir,  2 The Heavenly Host, 3 Earthly Enforcers, 4 Angels as Ministers, 5 Angels as Messengers, 6 Angel Worship? 7 the Adversary, 8 the Angel of “Light”

Wednesday Night

Paul’s Letter to the Romans

There is going to be a brand new Bible Study on Wednesdays, starting August 3rd from 6:00- 7:00pm meeting in room 123.  It will be on Paul’s letter to the Romans.  This is one of Paul’s finest letters that probes some of the deepest truths of our faith including the nature of true love and the difficulty of living morally in a fallen world.  We also see the power of God at work in sustaining the apostle Paul through his trials.  If you are interested in being a part of this, bring your Bible on the 3rd, or email me at dbrown120@austin.rr.com., or call me at 512-805-9009 (home) or 512-508-2002 (cell).

1 Peter  | Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm (Room 129)
